The group boat trip in the Venetian Lagoon departing from Chioggia has as its main objective to make people see and appreciate Chioggia and its lagoon from a different and unusual point of view, that of the locals. You can choose from 3 different tours:
Aquaculture
On this aquaculture-themed tour you can discover mussel and crab farms. Local fishermen will show you their harvesting methods and teach you how to recognize the delicious "molecas," the young, newly moulted crabs. You can sample oysters raised at Ca' Roman as you learn how they grow and are cultivated.
Sunset
On this tour you will be able to reach a viewpoint near Ca' Roman where you can take photos. The tour time will vary depending on the time of sunset.
Chioggia
On this tour you will explore Chioggia and the Venetian Lagoon in a tour lasting about an hour and a half. You will sail through the picturesque canals of Chioggia and admire the beauty of Sottomarina, listening to interesting stories and anecdotes. You will finally enjoy an aperitif on the boat with friends.
