The typical picnic in Valcamonica in Piancogno will always be preceded by a guided tour that can vary in length. There are in fact 3 different tours, of 2h, 3h and 4h respectively.

There is the possibility to visit both Bignotti wineries with a two-hour tour that starts with the historic 15th-century winery. After the tour, you proceed to explore the park until you reach the Davine Stream Waterfall, then return to the historic winery for a picnic.

A 3-hour tour extension includes a guided visit to the waterfall and then walking along trails and mule tracks within the property to the highest vineyard, before returning to the winery for the picnic.

The longer 4-hour tour includes ascending the course of the waterfall via paths carved into the rock, which offer breathtaking panoramic views. Several scenic terraces can be found along the way, including the "Moorish lookout," the subject of study by renowned art critics. The guided tour continues through the vineyards and olive grove, concluding again at the historic winery for a picnic.
