Trekking with alpacas in South Tyrol's Renon region

Explore farm life, animals in the barn, breeding and species reproduction up close. The llama and alpaca walk takes place on a farm in Soprabolzano, Trentino Alto Adige.

Llama and alpaca trekking
Every Tuesday afternoon we walk with our good llamas and alpacas through the surrounding forests, enjoying the silence and letting the quiet elegance of the animals take effect on us. Technically easy and ideal for getting to know the friendly Andean camels!

The tour is easy, taking a loop through the surrounding woods. Also perfect for young children. Possibility to have lunch or dinner at the Maso after the trek.

The half-day trekking tour
A half-day trekking tour bringing our hand-trained and tame stallions; they carry saddlebags with food and drinks while you lead the llamas and alpacas by hand. Starting at the farm, we walk with the friendly animals along the ancient Roman trail to the famous earth pyramids of Renon. There a break will be taken with a typical South Tyrolean snack together.

The hike starts at 9:30 am and lasts about 3 h 30 min. There is an elevation gain of about 300 meters to overcome.
