Discover the trails near Chiesa in Valmalenco with a snowshoe hike led by an experienced Environmental Guide.

Depending on your preferences, you can choose from different types of snowshoeing:

Group Day Snowshoeing (Sunday)

A snowshoe trail perfect for experiencing the mountains during the day. Venturing out to the great plateau of Valmalenco, the Guide will indicate the most appropriate strata for the level of the group covering a maximum of 10km in length and 450 meters in elevation gain.

Evening snowshoe hike with dinner at the hut (Saturday)

You will start the hike in the afternoon and passing through snowy trails at sunset you will arrive at the hut where you will enjoy an excellent typical dinner. The return will also be a unique experience as you will have the opportunity to end the snowshoeing at night and experience a new adventure. (Remember the headlamps!)

The menu at the lodge is km0 and includes:

  • Appetizers of cold cuts and cheeses
  • A first course of your choice of pizzoccheri or first of the day
  • Homemade desserts
  • Water
  • A round of wine
  • Coffee

Private snowshoeing

Evocative private snowshoe hike above Chiesa in Valmalenco, amidst the snow-white landscape of the Alps, you will have an enveloping and silent experience. The route will be defined by the Mountain Guide according to the preparation of the group members.

Lunches not agreed upon with the guide are to be considered packed or paid for by the participant.

Clothing required for the hike includes waterproof clothing, hiking boots, sunglasses, gloves and winter cap. However, prior to the hike, it will be possible to check with the guide for details based on weather conditions as well. Technically easy snowshoeing is suitable for anyone in good health.
