1. Walk in the center of Moena

Moena, è a small town that offers numerous attractions. For example, we recommend visiting the La Gran Vera museum, which houses an exhibition on World War I. The cost of the ticket starts from 7€ per person.

In addition, we suggest you explore the Church of San Vigilio, dating back to 1164. This Gothic church preserves large stained-glass windows and is strategically located, ideal for admiring the view from the’top.

2. Taste the "Puzzone" of Moena

The typical dish of Moena è a cheese with a strong and decisive taste: the "Puzzone di Moena".

In some malghe, such as the'Agritur El Mas, you can not only taste it, but also follow every stage of its production, from the barn, with the milking of the cows, to the transformation of the milk into cheese.

The experience, which includes a tasting, costs from 27€ per person.

3. Dinner in a mountain hut in Val di Fiemme

We recommend a dinner in a mountain hut in Bellamonte, a 20-minute drive from Moena, to discover the flavors of local cuisine.

The experience includes transportation by snowmobile with a ride of about 20 minutes to the mountain hut.

The proposed menu includes: appetizer, main course, water and coffee. Dishes to try include polenta with cheese or game and strangolapreti with wild spinach. The cost starts from 60€ per person.

4. Skiing in Moena

The ski slopes of Moena offer 95 km of different tracks and numerous services. For example, we suggest you try Sanpe Snowpark, for snowbaord enthusiasts.

For the little ones, on the other hand, we recommend the Ski Area Alpe Lusia, equipped with various play areas, ski schools and other experiences, such as tobogganing. The cost of the ski pass starts from 70€ per person.

Finally, every year in early February, ski instructors organize a sunrise ski trip, called "Ski SunRise", starting from 45€ per person.

5. Snowshoeing in Passo San Pellegrino

Group snowshoeing between Moena and San Pellegrino Pass offers an unique opportunity to spend a morning or afternoon immersed in the fresh snow of the Dolomites.

Snowshoeing includes several options: half-day, available on Tuesdays; and Saturdays; full-day, on Saturdays; evening and night, on Thursdays; and Fridays.

The cost starts from 30€ per person and includes snowshoes and poles.

6. A day at the spa

A few minutes' drive away, in Pozza di Fassa, we suggest you relax at Qc Terme Dolomiti. The facility offers wellness path packages, as well as customized experiences.

Here you can try different massages, with varying durations: from anti-stress massage to traditional couples massage.

The facility è open daily and the cost starts from 50€ per person.

7. Events in Moena

During the year, in Moena, there are several events that we recommend you attend.

For example, you can participate in the Christmas markets of the Fairy. From November 30 to January 5, you can discover stalls and various activities, such as "Puppy Christmas".

In mid-March, on the other hand, you can participate in the Scufoneda, a festival dedicated to freeride skiing and telemark skiing in Val di Fassa. 

Finally, in early August, we recommend that you take part in the Turkey District Festival, which offers numerous food and wine and cultural events.

8. Trekking at the conca di Fuciade

The Fuciade basin is located near the San Pellegrino Pass and offers several hiking trails of intermediate difficulty.

We suggest a hike loop trail lasting about 2 hours, suitable for those who already have some experience.

For the more experienced, however, we recommend a trek into the Forca Rossa Valley, with a stop at the Fuciade Refuge and departure from Palafachina. At the hut you will have the opportunity to enjoy typical dishes such as dumplings, alpine fondue with truffles and Kaiserschmarren.
