1. Useful information

The Porto Istana beach does not è have a closed number and does not require a reservation to gain access.

È has a parking lot for a fee and è is also easily accessible for people with disabilities.

On-site there are several services such as bars and restaurants that will allow you to rent loungers and umbrellas.

Thanks to its strategic location, è it is one of the closest beaches to the'Olbia airport, in fact, it is only 11km away.

2. How to get the beach

The beach è can be easily reached from Olbia in about 15 minutes by car, driving along the state road SS125 to Murta Maria.

In the high season months, we recommend that you opt for public transportationbecauseè parking could become a problem. Buses leave, from the center of Olbia, every 40 minutes and will take youdirectly to the beach, in about 20 minutes, at a cost of about 1-2€ each way.

3. Tips

The beach overall is quite long, but it has the drawback of being rather narrow, leaving little room for umbrellas and sunbeds.

For this reason, we suggest that you arrive in the first half of the morning to make sure you find a place in the free beach area.

4. Activities in the area

Among the various activities in the area, we suggest you rent a dinghy or go on a boat excursion to visit the'Island of Tavolara.

Some organized excursions will also allow you to take bathing stops in which to do snorkeling to observe the seabed.

Nearby, you will also have the opportunity to visit other beaches, such as La Cinta di San Teodoro, Cala Brandinchi and Lu Impostu.
