1. Useful information
The beach è easily accessible, including for people with disabilities, and è to free access with no entry restrictions. Animals are not allowed.
Next door there is a parking lot pay, connected to the beach by a short dirt path.
È there is a part of free beach and a part of equipped beach with various services such as bars and restaurants, è therefore also perfect for families with children.
2. How to get to Romazzino beach
To reach the beach you can move by car:
.- FromPorto Cervo, follow the signs to Arzachena and then continue in the direction of Abbiadori .
- From Olbia, on the other hand, we advise you to take the provincial road 73
Alternatively, you could take advantage of the local public transportation, operated by the company ARST, by opting for the line 604. To purchase tickets, we recommend that you use the online platform Dropticket.
As an additional option, you could book a'boat excursion that will take you to discover all the beaches of the Emerald Coast.
3. Tips
This beach has the advantage of being easily accessible and well served, but we recommend that you arrive in the early morning hours as it tends to fill up quickly.
Also, be careful not to confuse it with the Beach of Small Romazzino: while close, the two beaches have different accesses. We also point out that Little Romazzino has no parking.
.4. Curiosities
The name Romazzino comes from the Gallurese romassinu dialect, or the rosemary plant, found in abundance in the area.
The beach features fine white sand and crystal clear water. È oriented toward south-east, with a depth of about 300 meters and a width of 500 meters.
5. Activities in the area
If you want to explore the Emerald Coast by sea, we recommend renting an inflatable boat or booking a'skippered excursion to spend the day boating among friends or family.
Also not far away you will find the Maddalena Archipelago that you can visit in a day trip by land or sea.
In addition, near Arzachena you might try a horseback ride available throughout the year.
