Wine tasting and tour of the Giacomo Montresor winery in Verona

A guided tour of the winery, in the heart of Verona, will introduce you to the main tencics of making and aging traditional Veneto wines. The tour ends with a tasting of local wines.

The activity begins with a guided tour of the winery, from the crushing and fermentation facility, to the ancient drying loft, to the underground cellars for aging and refining great wines. At the end of the tour follows a tasting of 4 or 5 different vintages of local wines, depending on the option chosen. It is possible to combine the tasting with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses for an additional fee.

Amarone

The tasting includes 5 wines:

• Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico "Satinato" 2015
• Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico "Satinato Riserva" 2012
• Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico "Capitel della Crosara" 2009
• Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico "Capitel della Crosara" 2008
• Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico "Capitel della Crosara" 2006

The tasting can be paired with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses for an additional charge.

The winery visit lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes and is a unique opportunity to learn about production techniques and taste Veneto wines in the company of friends, family or your partner. The visit can also be conducted in German every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
