The best Boat Tour from Castiglione della Pescaia

The Argentario catamaran and snorkeling day will begin at 9 a.m. in Porto Santo Stefano, in the province of Grosseto, where you will meet the crew who will accompany you on the catamaran excursion.

The boat ride will take you along the coast of the Monte Argentario promontory, past sandy bays, inlets, cliffs and coves of great natural beauty.

During the trip you will make several stops to snorkel at the most beautiful spots, including Cala del Gesso, Cala dell'Olio and Cala Mar Morto. The crew will provide you with all the necessary equipment. You can also relax in the sun and enjoy the open bar with water, soft drinks, red and white wine.

During the first stop you will be offered a selection of mixed bruschetta by the captain, prepared with fresh tomatoes, tomato puree and Tuscan olive oil.

At lunch, delicious rice alla pescatora or pasta dishes with fish will be offered, with vegetarian options available. At the end of the meal, you will be offered coffee, and in the afternoon there will be a Nutella party for everyone to recharge their energy and keep diving and swimming.

The day will end with the return to Porto Santo Stefano scheduled for 6 pm. The excursion is confirmed with a minimum of 15 participants.

During the navigation, you will skirt the coast and visit some of the Argentario's most beautiful coves, where you can stop for a swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters.

The boat is made entirely of wood, and is equipped with a large sundeck and awning. A small snack will be offered on board.

The activity can be booked for a morning or afternoon ride. It is also possible to book the boat in private mode.

Departing from Porto Santo Stefano, the destination will be chosen according to weather and sea conditions, and during the trip, you will be accompanied by the crew who will guide you through corals, volcanic rocks and gorgonians, telling the story of these picturesque places.

You will enjoy the sunshine and an onboard lunch of pasta, fruit, wine, soft drinks and coffee.

The itinerary will be determined by marine weather conditions, with at least 4 stops for swimming and snorkeling activities. Return is scheduled in the afternoon between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., with a total excursion duration of about 8 hours.

Two boats are available. The Negis boat carries up to 18 people, while the Gigliola boat carries up to 28 people.

Board a comfortable motorboat and visit Giglio Island, Giannutri and the most hidden coves and islets of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Departing from Castiglione della Pescaia, you can choose from three types of tours, lasting about 8 hours and 30 minutes:

Giglio and Giannutri

• Embarkation starting at 8 a.m.; at 8:30 a.m. we set sail! (check in by 8:10 a.m.)
• sailing along the coast of Maremma and Parco dell'Uccellina to Talamone and afterwards along the north coast of Argentario.
• Shortly before 11 a.m. disembark at Giglio. It can be visited freely or with Toscana Trekking guides, booking visits with them while sailing
• at about 2 p.m. set sail for Giannutri.
• at about 2:45 p.m. arrival in Giannutri, where it will be possible to take more guided tours or engage in swimming.
• at 4 p.m. we set sail from Giannutri to return to Castiglione (7:30 p.m.), after a short technical stop at Giglio.
• Tour stops may vary depending on weather conditions and skipper's decisions.

Cash payment of the Municipal Disembarkation Fee for Giglio Island of €3.00 per person and Giannutri Island Access Fee of €2.50 per person is required before departure.

Tour Classic 

The Classic tour starts from the port of Giglio Island. Along the way, you will make 3 or 4 bathroom stops. During the tour you will be offered a delicious aperitif on board.

Tour Luxury 

The Luxury tour starts from the port of Giglio Island. This mini-cruise takes place aboard one of the luxury boats that offer maximum comfort. During the tour, you will make 3 or 4 bathroom stops and enjoy the crystal clear sea. The most exclusive part of this tour will be the arrival at the Caldane Beach, which è can only be reached by sea. Here you will find umbrellas and sunbeds reserved just for you and you can refresh yourself with delicious drinks. At the end of the tour, you can return to Giglio Porto with our Shuttle Boat, choosing the time you prefer.

Half Day - Private

The half-day private tour starts from Giglio Island port at the agreed time. During the tour you can make 3 or 4 bathroom stops. Along the way, you will enjoy a delicious aperitif on board. Finally, you will arrive at the Caldane Beach, the most exclusive beach on the island, reachable only by sea. Here umbrellas, reserved sunbeds and refreshments await you. At the end of the tour you can return to Giglio Porto with our Shuttle Boat, choosing your return time.

Full Day - Private

The full-day private tour starts from Giglio Island port at the agreed time. During the tour you will have the opportunity to choose your stops, explore the island's most fascinating coves and swim. During the day, you will be delighted with an aperitif on board and have the opportunity to enjoy a lunch selected from the menu. Finally, you will return to Giglio Porto, with a maximum return time of 6:30 p.m.

All boats are equipped with sundecks and awnings. Snorkeling equipment will be available on the boat, so you can explore the wonderful underwater world.

The sunset boat ride at Giglio Island is a romantic experience lasting about two hours.

The boat ride is scheduled to depart from Giglio Porto around 6:30/19:00 pm. You will sail until you reach the Campese Gulf or the surrounding coves, where you will stop to enjoy a sunset aperitif.

The aperitif consists of delicious fish crudités and crostini, accompanied by a prosecco, spritz or beer.

Return to the port of Giglio Island is scheduled at approximately 9:00 pm.

The Elba Island fishing boat experience with lunch consists of a full-day tour where you will help the crew fish and visit the island's pristine coastline.

This boat tour will allow you to experience the thrill of eating a lunch of freshly caught fish with your help while discovering fishing traditions. The skipper and crew will guide you through all the actions necessary for successful fishing.

During the excursion there will also be several stops for swimming and snorkeling and relaxing in the crystal clear sea of Elba Island.

Afternoon motorboat excursion departing from Marina di Campo to the Wreck and Grotta Azzurra, among the most picturesque spots on Elba Island.

The trip, which proceeds in the southwest direction of the island, allows you to discover Galenzana Beach, a small beach connected to Marina di Campo, Grotta Del Vescovo, Colle Palombaia an isolated pebble beach and the Costa del Sole. Within it are the beaches of Cavoli, Seccheto, with its enchanting natural pools, and Fetovaia.

Another favorite stop is the Blue Grotto, named for the play of colors that stand out near the Grotto, which also houses a small sandy beach that can be easily reached by swimming.

Navigation will then continue to the village of Pomonte, which has become famous for the presence of the Wreck. Today the wreck lies on the seabed right next to the rock and is home to an incredible natural marine habitat.

Upon returning from the excursion you will go in search of dolphins, which, with a bit of luck, can be spotted at any point of the trip, as the island is part of the Pelagos Sanctuary: a marine protected area for cetaceans and a true paradise for marine mammals.

Departing from Marina di Campo at 09:30, you will explore the Cannello beach and Porto Azzurro, skirting the mines of Rio. The trip continues along the spectacular Costa Verde and stops are planned at Viticcio and Sansone bays.

Four bathroom stops are planned during the excursion, before returning to Marina di Campo at 3:30 pm.

The boat tour is organized on a shared basis and lasts 6 hours. In addition, you will be offered a light lunch on board consisting of rice salad accompanied by drinks and small snacks.

Depending on weather conditions and the skipper's decisions, the stops may change.

Maximum capacity: 150 people.

Embark on a day trip to Elba Island, visiting its north coast to Sant'Andrea, with drinks on board and stops to take a dip in the turquoise waters and practice snorkeling.

Departing from Portoferraio, the boat trip sails along the island's coast to the Scoglietto Nature Reserve and as far as Sant'Andrea, with the opportunity to have lunch on board and enjoy a spritz during the day.

The boat trip is shared includes lunch, drinks and surface snorkeling equipment.

Depending on weather conditions and skipper's decisions, stops may vary.

Maximum capacity: 12 people. The excursion takes place if there are at least 7 people on board.

Excursion by motorboat departing from Marina di Campo in southern Elba Island and bathroom stops. Depending on the days you go to Sant'Andrea or Punta Calamita and Capoliveri.

Sant'Andrea (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun)

Visible spots will include the Costa del Sole, Grotta Azzurra, the Pomonte Wreck and the Beaches of Cavoli, Seccheto and Fetovaia. Napoleon's Chair, which can only be reached by sea, will also be seen. You will then pass through the Pomonte Wreck and reach Campo Lo Feno Beach.

After a visit to Sant'Andrea and Cotoncello, the return to the port of Marina di Campo is a route dedicated to the search for dolphins.

Punta Calamita and Mines of Capoliveri (Tue, Thu, Sat)

Navigation will be to the southeast coast of the island, very close to the coast, with one of the first stops at la Cala del Fico, a cave halfway between Ripa Nera and Capo di Fonza, with central access, perfect for snorkelers.

Continuing the tour, one encounters the Spiaggia degli Acquarilli and the Spiaggia del Felciaio, and a little further on, the Spiaggia dell'Innamorata.

You then arrive at the Sea Ox Cave, with as much as 12 meters in height and a small beach inside that can be reached by swimming. You will then continue on to the Mines of Capoliveri. On the return trip you will go in search of dolphins!
