Destinations in Trentino-South Tyrol for Horseback Riding

Trentino-South Tyrol and Horseback Riding: what to know

Trentino-South Tyrol offers a wide diversity of high-altitude vegetation for excursions within a few miles of major cities. The mountains of the Dolomites offer crazy panoramic views of the valleys below for horseback riding trips: the Val di Non, Val Gardena, Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme, all the way to Val di Sole and the Brenta Valley. In southern Trentino, in the Lake Garda area, we find horseback riding excursions in the Upper Garda and Giudicarie Woods.

Horseback rides vary in duration: they range from about 1h to half a day. The price of a horseback ride ranges from 25€ to 40€ per hour and depends on the services included. Some facilities, in fact, also offer the possibility of combining the excursion with a tasting or local aperitif in a farmhouse, such as the walk in Val di Sole, or a typical lunch in a refuge.

These are very fun rides suitable even for beginners, so no previous equestrian experience is necessary.

Discover the best rides just minutes from Trento, Canazei, Bolzano, Madonna di Campiglio, Folgaria, Moena and Predazzo!
