1. Try a typical dinner

In Andalo, you can try polenta, gnocchi with speck pumpkin and much more. We recommend, Lucin – Food & Flower, a flower store, very special. In fact, it also houses a store and kitchen, where you can enjoy traditional dishes.

In addition, we suggest, the Maso Grezi, just outside Andalo, maintains the carattestico environment and traditional dishes, where you can also taste the cheeses of their production.

Finally, for a lunch or dinner at high altitude, we recommend the Dosson refuge. To get there you can take the cable car, or with a 1-hour trek on foot.

2. Skiing in Andalo

At the Ski Area Paganella you will find an area, formed by several slopes, suitable for any skier, from the inexperienced, to a black slope for professionals.

In addition, Andalo allows for more adrenaline-filled experiences, such as at the Snow Park, an'area dedicated to snowboarders.

The rate for the ski pass starts from 60€ per person but may vary depending on the season, in fact during the holiday season it costs about 70€.

3. Taking a sleigh ride

The horse-drawn sleigh ride è the perfect opportunity to admire the landscapes of the Dolomites. The experience è suitable for everyone, even children.

The experience lasts 45 minutes and the cost starts from 26€ per person.

4. Spend a day at the spa

In Andalo you can relax and have fun at the "Family Activity Park" in Andalo, suitable for both children, and adults, in fact, in addition to the wellness trails, there are several slides in the facility.

We suggest that you book in advance, purchasing the day ticket directly on the website. We specify that the ticket for the water park è separate from that for the wellness area.

The experience's cost starts from 30€ per person.

5. Snowshoeing on Paganella

We suggest snowshoeing at high altitude, on the Paganella. You will have the opportunity to choose from 3 different routes, varying in duration.

All tours will develop towards Conca d'Argento and Sant'Antonio, starting from Andalo. The tours offer different options: the half-day excursion, the day excursion, or the evening experience.

At the end of the snowshoe hike, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an aperitif or dinner at the lodge. The cost of the experience starts from 30 € per person, snowshoes and poles are included in the price.

6. Visiting an educational farm

An activity that is also suitable for children, è a visit to an educational farm. For example, during the spring period, at the Malga Tovre, you can milk cows or try the cheeses they make.

At the Malga Fai, reachable by chairlift or a 1-hour trakking, you will have the opportunity to spend a day in nature, discovering the work of the land and the production of their donkey milk.

Finally, we recommend the Chalet Malga Terlaga, which during the summer organizes activities with farm animals and games for cambini.

7. Horse Riding

During the spring and summer, from April to September, we recommend horseback riding in the heart of Andalo Park.

The one-hour hike is also suitable for beginners and is accessible for ages 14 and older.

The cost è is 40€ per person and includes equipment, such as a helmet. Appropriate clothing is recommended: long pants and closed shoes.

8. Visit Belfort Castle

A few minutes' drive from Andalo, we suggest you visit Castel Belfort, an imposing medieval castle now ruined, but still clearly visible.

Also, not far away, we recommend a stop at Castel Belasi, which hosts numerous contemporary art exhibitions with free admission.

9. Trekking on Lake Andalo

During spring and summer, we suggest a loop trail that skirts the Karst Lake of Andalo.

The route è suitable for everyone, including children, as the trail è cemented and therefore accessible to anyone. The duration of the trail è of about 45 minutes.

In winter, on the other hand, we recommend a trekking medium-difficulty loop trail, which passes through the localities of Andalo, Pegorar and Madonna di Loreto. È appropriate clothing is recommended, with hiking boots and, possibly, trekking poles.

10. Taking a little train ride in Andalo

Throughout the year, you can participate in a train ride to discover the ancient farms, typical rural dwellings of Trentino-Alto Adige.

The activity takes place throughout the day and lasts about an hour.
