1. How to get there by land

With your'car drive to Porto Istana, then take Via Punzutu and drive along it almost to the end. Once you get to this point you can leave your'car at the side of the road (beware: there are only a dozen parking spaces available).

After parking your car, on the ground you will find the sign "AL MARE" indicating the'beginning of the path that will take you to the Three Sisters Beach in about 15 minutes of walking.

On arriving at Three Sisters Beach, you must continue northeast by taking this path which, in another 15 minutes of walking, will take you to Doctor's Beach.

2. How to get there by sea

The Doctor's Beach è can be easily reached by sea via dinghy rental throughout the Capo Ceraso, Porto Istana and Porto San Paolo areas.

In order to respect the environment and nature, it is not recommended to get too close to the beach and it is not possible to dock the dinghy on the shore, but it is always possible to dive in and swim to the beach.

An'other alternative è is to rent SUP or canoe in the establishments around the beach. For example, renting the SUP from Porto Istana you can reach the beach in about 30 minutes.

3. Other information and advice

The Doctor's Beach does not è a closed number and does not require a reservation.

On this beach there are no bar or restaurant services, umbrella and sunbed rentals, or sanitary facilities.

Since there is little parking available, we recommend that you arrive early in the morning and do not leave your car in the way since the fault would be almost certain.

To walk the trail, close-toed shoes sneakers or hiking shoes are highly recommended, if not mandatory.

The particular name of the beach comes from the stone cottage found at the side of the beach, which once belonged to the very doctor who lived there in search of solitude.

4. Activities in the area

If you are vacationing in the Doctor's Beach area, you can't miss a boat trip to Tavolara and Molara starting from Olbia, Porto San Paolo and San Teodoro.

Many of these organized excursions also include stops for swimming to do snorkeling and admire the seabed.

In addition, on the following days we recommend you try a kayak ride to Capo Coda Cavallo or a horseback ride by the sea in Budoni, a little more' south of San Teodoro.

There are many other beaches in the area that we recommend you visit, such as the Beaches of Cala Girgolu, Lu Impostu, La Cinta and many others.
