1. Visiting villages of the Val di Fassa

In the Fassa Valley, you will have the opportunity to visit several mountain villages, typical of the Trentino region. We recommend, for example, a walk through the center of Moena and a visit to the museum La Gran Vera, which houses an exhibition dedicated to World War I. The cost of the ticket starts from 7€ per person.

In addition, we suggest that you stop in Canazei and visit the church of San Floriano, or head to Col dei Rossi to enjoy the landscapes of the Marmolada glacier.

2. Skiing in the Fassa Valley

Canazei is part of the Belvedere Ski Area and is one of the main entrances to the Sellaronda, one of Italy's most renowned ski tours.

This ski area includes nearly 22 kilometers of slopes, and the Dolomiti snowpark is located at Belvedere.

There are two ski passes available to access this area: Val di Fassa - Carezza (from €63 per person) or you can access the entire Dolomiti Superki (from €73 per person) with more than 120 kilometers of slopes

3. Dinner in a mountain hut in Val di Fassa

The experience will begin in Campitello di Fassa, where the guide will take you to a hut nestled in the Val Duron. The transfer will take about 20 minutes.

You will be able to choose between two menu options: a one-dish accompanied by a dessert or a full menu that includes an appetizer, a first or second course and the house dessert.

During the experience you will have the opportunity to enjoy several local specialties, such as tagliatelle with venison ragù or polenta prepared on the wood stove. The cost of the experience starts from 55€ per person.

Qc Terme Dolomiti offers the SPA inside, where you can opt for a spa course of varying durations or relax with massages and treatments. The daily price starts from 52€ per person.

The second option are the Terme Dolomia, which offer packages with overnight stays or wellness treatments starting from 120€ per person.

5. Try typical dishes: Puzzone di Moena and Strudel

Among the various activities to do, we suggest you try the typical dishes of the Fassa Valley. For example, the strudel prepared with mad dough: we recommend you try it at the Marlene bakery, in Campitello di Fassa.

To taste Puzzone di Moena, we recommend a visit to’Agritur El Mas. Here, you can not only buy this typical cheese, but also participate in a tour of the dairy with tasting, available from from 27€ per person.

Finally, you can try the Cher de Fascia, the characteristic heart-shaped cheese, which you can taste and buy at, the Caseificio Sociale della Val di Fassa.

6. Snowshoeing from Canazei

From Canazei you can join a snowshoe hike in the heart of the Fassa Valley, with a choice of a half-day or a 7-hour hike. Prices start from 40€ per person.

In addition, we recommend the night snowshoeing, which includes transportation by snowmobile and a hut dinner, of three courses. The cost of the experience starts from 95€ per person, excluding snowshoe rental.

7. Events in Fassa Valley

During the year, there are numerous events held in the Fassa Valley that we recommend you do not miss.

For example, in Pozza di Fassa, you can watch, during the Advent season, the parade of the Krampus (devils), scary characters who wear goat skins, tall wooden hooves and wooden masks to scare children who have not behaved well during the year. 

Moena, on the other hand, you can participate in the Christmas markets fairy. From November 30 to January 5, you can discover stalls and various activities, such as "Puppy Christmas".

Finally, we recommend that you take part in the Ladin Carnival, which is celebrated every year on January 17, in Canazei, with traditional masks and festivities typical of the local culture.

8. Tobogganing downhill

We recommend a perfect experience to have with children or with friends: sledding down the slope. È you can choose between a daily ticket or one valid only for the afternoon.

We suggest, for example, the ski arena Alpe Lusia. The cost of toboggan rental starts from 8€ per person, for 1 hour.

9. Horseback riding

We offer a horseback ride, suitable for everyone from 14 years old and up. The hike, lasting from 1 to 2 hours, takes place in Campitello di Fassa, along forests and mountain trails, with a cost starting from 45€ per person.

Alternatively, you could opt for a romantic walk, ideal for couples but not limited to them, lasting about 2½ hours and ending with an aperitif. The cost starts from 270€ per couple.

Appropriate clothing is recommended, with long pants and closed-toe shoes. The helmet, mandatory, will beà provided by the riding school.

10. E-bike tour in Val di Fassa

During the summer time, in Pozza di Fassa, we recommend an e-bike tour along the Fassa and Fiemme valleys bike path, an’ideal experience to explore the Dolomites area.

The tour starts at Fassa Park, where, on the way back, you can enjoy an aperitif.

The cost of the experience starts from 55’per person and includes helmet rental and assistance along the way.

11. Trekking in the Fassa Valley

An activity to do in the spring and summer season è a trek. We recommend a loop trail to the Fedaia Lake

This trek è suitable for hikers, without special technical skills, since it is of intermediate level.

Finally, we recommend a trekking to the missing castle of the Countess of Dolèda. The route develops near Canazei and è is rich in history and legends, to be discovered along the way.
