E-bike rides in Piedmont: the 3 best rides

The Intelvi Valley e-bike tour will allow you to explore the area and ride the roads that connect its villages on Lake Como. There are various routes available that will allow you to admire breathtaking landscapes and views.

Before the bike tour departs, the guide will be on hand to provide advice on the trails and what to visit. With rental only, the guide will not participate in the tour.

Guided Tour Rifugio Venini - A loop tour suitable for everyone, mainly on asphalt and a small part on dirt road. The tour is about 33km long with an elevation gain of 800 m and you will be accompanied by a guide.

You will start from San Fedele Intelvi at 10:00 a.m. and, after a scenic stage on Lake Como, you will reach Alpe di Colonno (1322 m), Boffalora, and finally arrive at Rifugio Venini of Mount Galbiga at 1578 m.

From here, we follow a scenic road to the World War II Trenches area and return to San Fedele Intelvi at 3:30 pm.

Tour to Lake Orta with Aperitif

The first mode is an easy level tour with aperitif, available every Friday and Saturday at 5 pm. You will pedal in a relaxed manner through the area's most beautiful villages, riding along dirt roads that go deep into the woods and stopping at numerous viewpoints to admire the lake at sunset. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a delicious aperitif with cured meats, cheeses, wine, craft beers and cocktails!

Tour to Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore

The second mode is a half-day intermediate level tour, departing at 9:00 am or 3:00 pm. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit both Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore, traversing the scenic Mount Bonfire and taking in breathtaking views along exciting trails. You will drive along back roads that offer spectacular views of Lake Orta and the surrounding hills, until you reach Coiromonte. From there, you will take the magnificent Three Mountains Trail until you reach Mount Bonfire, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the three lakes of the Varesotto region and Lake Maggiore. Finally, you will pass through picturesque villages and ride along dirt roads until you return to the starting point, where a rich glass of Sangria or a soft drink awaits you for those who prefer!

  Most Popular Tour. The route runs on roads and touches on the locations where the NIZZA DOCG is produced. You will face some unpaved parts among the vineyards and in the September period you can also witness the grape harvest.   The Brachetto Roads Tour is the route suitable for everyone, families and beginners. It develops on the opposite side of the Acqui hills and touches the towns of Fontanile, Maranzana and Mombaruzzo where during the route we can stop on the famous "giant benches". In addition, in Mombaruzzo, a locality famous for the artisanal production of the typical "amaretti "it will be possible, upon request, to have a tasting combined with a glass of Moscato.
