Italy and Vespa Rides: what to know
In Italy, there is a wide diversity of landscapes and vegetation, ideal for Vespa tours in the hills. From Vespa Tours to Lake Garda and Lake Como, through the Langhe and on to the Val d'Orcia.
Vespa tours usually last one day and the price ranges from €25 to €100 per person. Some facilities also offer the option of renting a vintage Vespa, visiting a wine cellar or bringing a guide, otherwise a paper or digital medium is always provided to experience the tour at its best!
These are very fun tours and the Vespa can be driven even by beginners. The required driver's license is usually A1 up to 125cc, or B license.

FAQs for Vespa in Abruzzo
Is the Vespa ride on its own or led by an instructor?
The Vespa tour can be of 3 types: - Self-guided: a booklet or digital pad is provided to guide you through the tour, suggesting stops and routes - Hired: the itinerary and stops are set at the customer's free choice - Guided: an instructor will accompany you on the tour (usually with a planned itinerary and set of stops).
What is included in the Vespa ride?
Included in the Vespa ride is the rental of the vehicle and the necessary equipment to get on the vehicle, such as a helmet. Fuel, or other additional items such as a picnic lunch, is also rarely included, but we encourage clients to consult the contents of the experience-specific page.
What kind of license is needed to drive a wasp?
The wasp can be driven with an A1 license up to the 125cc displacement, or with a B license, unless otherwise specified on the experience page. In the case of vintage vespas, which are often equipped with a manual transmission, a small drill is usually conducted before departure.
How many people can ride the wasp?
The wasp can carry 2 people-the driver of the vehicle and the passenger. Both can drive the motorcycle as long as they have a license (the type of license required is specified on the experience page).
How much does a Vespa ride cost in Italy?
Vespa tours in Italy range from 30€ up to 100€ per day per person. The price depends both on what is included in the tour (picnic, guide...) and whether only the driver, or even a passenger, gets on the vespa.
