Vintage Vespa Tour along the Mincio River from Peschiera del Garda

The proposed itinerary for the Vespa Ride along the Mincio River starts at about 11:00 am and ends at 5:30/18:00 pm. You will see some of the most picturesque areas between the regions of Veneto and Lombardy.

Departing from Peschiera del Garda or Desenzano del Garda, you will travel about 60 km of scenic roads through hills and valleys where grapes are grown for wines such as Custoza, Garganega, and Bardolino. Along the way, you will come across the Mincio River several times and visit several ancient villages.

The first stop on the tour is Borghetto sul Mincio, where you will have an aperitif, then continue to the second stop the Villa dei Mulini, where you can have lunch with a menu consisting of a first and second course.

The third stop is a visit to the Vittoria court, where you will also enjoy a delicious homemade ice cream. Afterwards you will visit Ossario di Custoza.

If you choose the departure from Peschiera del Garda, the last stop before the return is a visit to Azienda Agricola Venciu, where you will have a tasting of three wines accompanied by local products. Otherwise, the Vespa tour from Desenzano del Garda will have you do a similar tasting at Azienda Agricola Bosco.

Throughout the Vespa tour on the Mincio River, you will be accompanied by a digital guide, installed on your phone, so that you can enjoy the itinerary in total autonomy and at your own timing.

FAQs for Vespa in Veneto

Is the Vespa ride on its own or led by an instructor?

The Vespa tour can be of 3 types: - Self-guided: a booklet or digital pad is provided to guide you through the tour, suggesting stops and routes - Hired: the itinerary and stops are set at the customer's free choice - Guided: an instructor will accompany you on the tour (usually with a planned itinerary and set of stops).

What is included in the Vespa ride?

Included in the Vespa ride is the rental of the vehicle and the necessary equipment to get on the vehicle, such as a helmet. Fuel, or other additional items such as a picnic lunch, is also rarely included, but we encourage clients to consult the contents of the experience-specific page.

What kind of license is needed to drive a wasp?

The wasp can be driven with an A1 license up to the 125cc displacement, or with a B license, unless otherwise specified on the experience page. In the case of vintage vespas, which are often equipped with a manual transmission, a small drill is usually conducted before departure.

How many people can ride the wasp?

The wasp can carry 2 people-the driver of the vehicle and the passenger. Both can drive the motorcycle as long as they have a license (the type of license required is specified on the experience page).

How much does a vespa ride in Veneto cost?

Vespa tours in Veneto range from 30€ to 50€, up to 100€ per day. The price depends both on what is included in the tour (picnic, driving...) and whether only the driver, or even a passenger, gets on the vespa.
