How to get to Bormio 3000?

From the center of Bormio, located at an elevation of 1,225 meters, you can reach Bormio 2000 using a cable car and continue to Cima Bianca, also known as Bormio 3000, via a cable car, thus reaching an elevation of as much as 3,000 meters.

Alternatively, you also have the option of getting to Bormio 2000 by car (just enter Via San Pietro in your navigator) and then take only the second section of the cable car.

  • The full fare for the cable car ride from Bormio to Bormio 2000 is 13 euros (17 euros for round-trip ticket).

  • There is also the option of purchasing a full cumulative ticket (which includes both the gondola and cable car) at a cost of 19 euros (26 euros for round-trip ticket).

For winter, however, prices will have to take into account the cost of ski passes, which start, for the 2023/2024 season, at a minimum of 29 euros for 4 hours.

For schedules, both the gondola and cable car operate daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Sunday, September 10, 2023. While until September 24, opening will be exclusively on weekends. For the upcoming winter season, however, the lift will be open daily from December 1, 2023 to April 7, 2024 from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm.

To reach the 3,000-meter altitude in Bormio, it is essential to first get to Bormio 2,000, either by car or by using the gondola. Once you reach this station, you will have the opportunity to climb further by using the cable car called "Whitelady" which will take you to the altitude of 3,000 meters.
