A section usually popular with adults and children alike is the winter sports section that explains how Livigno has become a top destination for mountain and snow sports lovers.
For fans of history and traditions, on the other hand, an in-depth look at Walser culture, an ethnic people of Germanic origin who left an indelible mark on the history of the area, could be very interesting. The museum offers a fascinating perspective on the life and traditions of the Alpine communities, from traditional costumes to handicrafts.
2. Relax at the spa
? The region's thermal waters are famous for their healing and rejuvenating properties. From fashion and sports stores to boutiques selling souvenirs and local products, there is something for everyone. Even the little ones will enjoy the weather hunting for toys and video games.
When it comes to shopping, however, beware of the deductible: there are limits for purchases in the duty-free zone and they are different for each type of merchandise. The limit updated to 2023 is €300 of purchases per person over the age of 15 and €150 per child or youth under the age of 15. In addition to these limits by value, there are also restrictions for particular types of goods and they are:
- Cigarettes: 200 pieces (a 10-pack carton)
- Cigars: 50 pieces
- Cigarettes/cigars (with a maximum weight of 3g per piece): 100 pieces

- Alcohol and alcoholic beverages less than 22°: 2 liters
