The 3 best dinners in a mountain hut in Livigno

La Baitella is a restaurant with a panoramic terrace in Madesimo, in the province of Sondrio, serving traditional chiavennasca dishes with km0 products. 

The facility will be reached by snowmobile. On the way, as passengers, you will be able to quietly admire the splendid panorama composed of the peaks of the Central Alps.

Dinner includes authentic dishes, cooked with passion, based on seasonal ingredients. Cold meats, cheeses, pizzoccheri, white gnocchetti, sliced beef with rustic potatoes and polenta with beef stew are just some of the possible dishes you will taste.

In the menù è included:

• Tagliere (Brisaola, Coppa, Salami, Taroz made with: Potatoes, Faglioni, Cheese, Butter, Onion).
• Bis of Primi (Gnocchetti bianchi di Chiavenna and Tagliatelle alla boscaiola).
• Secondo (Polenta and Stew).
• House dessert.
• Water and Coffee.

Night snowmobile excursion departing from Tonale Pass at about 7 pm. The snowmobile ride takes about 1 hour, after which we stop at a restaurant directly on the ski slopes for dinner.

At the end of dinner, around 11:00 p.m., we get back on the snowmobile and in about 15 minutes return to the valley.

The hut where you dine may be the Faita (Lombard side) or the Mirandola (Trentino side) depending on availability and customer willingness.

On the way back, the route is a little shorter (lasts about 15min).

Enjoy a typical Valtellina dinner on the ski slopes with an incredible view of the city of Bormio.   

Departure è scheduled at 7:30 pm from Bormio 2000 (where you will find free parking for cars and reachable without any problems but with mandatory snow tires or chains on board) and the transfer of about 10 minutes will take place by snowmobile (2-3 participants)  or snowcat (moreù participants).

• Antipasto Salumi misti sciatt
• Three first courses Pizzoccheri, Malfatti and Sciatt

• Primo (Pasta with tomato Ragù, Lasagna)

Transportation è included and is by snowcat from Bormio 2000 round trip (groups over 10 people) or snowmobile (under 10 people booked at the restaurant)

Ristoro Larici è ready to host you for a dinner at high altitude. The'experience è consists of a dinner with typical Valchiavenna dishes such as, for example, pizzoccheri, polenta taragna or biscotìn de Pròst, all preceded by an atmospheric gondola ride.

The facility does not offer table service, and once you arrive at the refreshment area, you can choose where to sit based on availability. There are 2 menù and childù menu.

The gondola canò accommodate up to a maximum of 8 people per cabin and the travel time è is about 5 minutes. È can be used free of charge for those who dine at the Ristoro from 7 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. The gondola station does not è have parking.

Dinner at a mountain hut with snowmobile transport in Livigno is a unique opportunity to spend a relaxing evening in a mountain setting nestled in the Alps.

Your guide will pick you up by snowmobile at the Carosello 3000 parking lot and guide you through the picturesque snow-covered slopes to the mountain hut where you will have dinner.

Upon arriving at the hut you will be welcomed in a typical rustic mountain setting where you will savor local products. You will have a choice of 2 menus:

Reduced menu

Wine and water are included, while coffee, drinks and extra courses are excluded.

At the end of dinner, around 10 pm, the guide will be responsible for taking you back to the meeting point by snowmobile.

The snowmobile dinner at Mortirolo Pass is a unique opportunity to experience an authentic dining experience in a typical mountain hut.

Departure is from Monno with snowmobile transportation, and depending on weather conditions there may be some driving or walking.

The proposed menu consists of 3 courses:

• Dessert

Drinks (water and a bottle of wine for every 4 people) and coffee are included.

The proposed cuisine is homemade and the dishes of the refuge are decided and prepared daily (may be subject to change), among the specialties we can find pizzoccheri, casoncelli, stew or roasts.
