1. Skiing in Cortina

Cortina is one of the most renowned ski resorts in the entire Dolomites, thanks in part to the Olympia slope on the Tofane where the world championships are held each year.

The Ampezzo Valley Ski Area includes a total of 3 ski areas: Tofane - Faloria, Cristallo - Lagazuoi and 5 Torri with about 120 kilometers of slopes for every level of experience that can be reached thanks to 38 lifts.

Ski pass prices start at €67 per person but are also accessible with Dolomiti Superski

2. Snowmobile excursion to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo

They will start from Lake Antorno, where they will take a test ride, and then ride a snowmobile to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo.

Once at the top you will take a 10-minute break at the Auronzo hut and finally return to the valley.

To make the experience complete, a lunch can be booked at the end of the experience at a local hut.

The price of the activity starts from 80€ per person

3. Snowmobile ride and sledding descent to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo

The meeting is from Misurina from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Once your turn arrives a guide will lead you through to the Auronzo Refuge at over 2,300 meters.

Once at the top you can enjoy yourself by sledding downhill. Those who prefer can also return to Misurina by snowmobile or on foot.

There is also the possibility to complete the activity with a lunch at the hut (on weekends and during high season only if you show up by 10 a.m.)

The price of the experience starts from 40€ per person.

In case the activity is soldout, a snowmobile ride and sledding descent on Mt. Piana could be a viable alternative

4. Snowshoeing on the Giau Pass

With this hike you will tackle together with a mountain guide a route to the Forcella Giau.

Along the way you will admire the Mondeval plateau surrounded by unique mountains such as Pelmo, Lastoni de Formin and Becco di Mezzodì.

The experience can be done as a group (from 99€ per person), which will be confirmed when 4 participants are reached, or you can book a private guide (from 45€ per person).

The experience with the initial transport by snowmobile and start the walk from a higher point is also available

5. Walk through the center of Cortina

The historic center of Cortina runs along the main street, Corso Italia, bustling with local stores and activities. We also recommend you visit the Ethnographic Museum of the Regole d'Ampezzo and the Paleontological Museum "Rinaldo Zardini".

Both museums are always open, with an entrance fee starting at 7€ per person. However, we recommend that you choose the museum package, which offers access to both for 12€ per person .

To end the day with a spectacular view, you can take the cable car up to the Rifugio Faloria, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy typical local dishes, or an aperitif at high altitude.

6. Dog sledding in Cortina

For lovers of animal experiences, we suggest a dog sledding excursion to Piana di Fiames.

The activity takes about 1 hour, including a lesson in the beginning to familiarize yourself with the sled and dogs.

Reservations are required to conduct the activity, and the excursions are from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.

The price for the experience starts from 100€ per person (including insurance)

7. Sauna at altitude

The Lagazuoi mountain hut offers the opportunity to enjoy a Finnish sauna for 45 minutes at more than 2700 meters.

The sauna can hold up to a maximum of 8 people. It can be used (with prior notice within a day) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those who do not stay overnight, while it is also diponibile in the evening for those who spend the night at the refuge.

The price of admission starts from 25€ per person

8. Dinner at a mountain hut on the slopes

Directly on the slopes of the Tofane ski resort, you can enjoy a typical dinner in a mountain hut.

The facility is easily reached on foot by parking your car in the center of town, and the menu offered includes 4 courses with drinks.

The price of the experience starts at 60€ per person and it is possible to book the experience for lunch as well

9. Skating at the Olympic Ice Stadium

Located just a few minutes' walk from the center of Cortina, you can skate at the Olympic Ice Stadium.

The facility offers skating lessons and also hosts competitive activities such as figure skating, curling, and field hockey.

The price to skate starts at 6€ per person for those with their own skates and 10€ with skate rental
