The tour will begin with a visit to the vineyards and description of pruning techniques, grape varieties and their cultivation, and harvesting and winemaking; è including an explanation of the Ronchi Varesini PGI and history of Varese wine, possibly with a Power Point lecture projection on the subject.  

Then follows the sensory experience with guided tasting. During the tasting you will taste two wines and they will be accompanied by breadsticks and taralli.

Depending on weather conditions, the tasting will be either in the tasting room or on the terrace or vineyard.

When booking, you will be able to select a small extra cutting board that will include a sampling of cured meats and cheeses.

Upon arrival you will visit the beautiful vineyards that embrace both the Valtenesi and Lugana territories.

The visit continues in our cellars to discover the places where the grapes are processed and the wines aged.

The experience continues with a tasting of 5 wines of your choice. The tasting will be paired with a sampling of products from the farm store: bruschettine with olive pate, beef ragout, duck and jams, and marinated lake sardines on robiola crostone.

This experience allows you to visit the Castle of Bornato and enjoy a glass of Franciacorta Brut accompanied by tapas.

You will start your visit from the Castle of Bornato and the interior rooms of Villa Orlando, a rare example of a Renaissance villa within medieval walls.

You will discover the ancient underground walkways and then, after admiring the Italian-style garden with the hundred-year-old trees and the panorama from the terrace, you will continue with a visit to the private chapel at the foot of the tower.

During the experience you will taste three wines, Animante, Rosè and Satèn, and discover the secrets of the production of Organic Franciacorta, which represents a cultural change before even a productive one, based on respect and the search for authenticity.

The tastings are accompanied by water, breadsticks and a single serving of Organic Parmigiano. The visit including tasting lasts about 2 hours.

Some areas of the winery have temperatures around 12° C and high humidity; consequently, we recommend appropriate clothing. The visit also includes a tour of the vineyard and, therefore, we suggest comfortable and suitable footwear.
