La Calcheira is a restaurant surrounded by nature at the beginning of Val Federia, in Livigno in the province of Sondrio. The rustic ambiance and homegrown cuisine make it the perfect place to sample traditional or revisited Valtellina dishes.
The menu proposed by the restaurant includes 3 courses including water, coffeeè, bitter and a quart of red wine per person.

• Bis of first courses: handmade pizzoccheri and pink gnocchetti with stracchino and gorgonzola.
• Mix of main courses: baked pork shank, livignasca sausage, venison in salmì and polenta taragna.
The facility can also be easily reached by car, from Livigno it is about 5/10 minutes on a paved road.
