The guided tour begins with a telling of the history of the winery's traditions and the land that is home to the grapes and vineyards that surround us.

It continues inside the winemaking premises, where the production of the wines takes place, the result of a’careful combination of tradition, technology and constant daily commitment.

We arrive, finally, in the old cellar for wine tasting and label narration. The wine glasses will be accompanied by a mixed board, Parmigiano Reggiano with homemade Traditional Balsamic Vinegar and baked gnocco.

This tour is an invitation to know, understand and be able to appreciate the local wine of Castelvetro, the land of Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOP.

The tour with tasting will allow you to discover the secrets of PDO and PGI Modena balsamic vinegar and while enjoying a relaxing day in the Modenese hills.

The experience begins with a visit to the acetaia of about an hour with an explanation of all the steps to produce balsamic vinegar including the phase in which the acetified must is made naturally.

At the end of the visit, participants will be able to taste all the products that have made Modena renowned, namely the 40 year old PDO and PGI Modena balsamic vinegar and the other condiments from the vinegar cellar. In addition, an aperitif with parmesan cheese, bruschetta, chips, olives and a glass of wine will be offered.

The visit can be attended by up to 20 people and is suitable for everyone: families, couples or groups of friends.

In addition to the visit, from Wednesday to Saturday it is possible to dine at the farmhouse while on Sunday it is possible to have lunch. The menu will consist of four courses, while drinks are excluded. For any intolerances please contact the facility in advance.

Picnicking among the olive groves in the hills of Castelvetro in Modena will allow you to spend a relaxing evening surrounded by a picturesque landscape.

You will be welcomed in the courtyard of the farmhouse where you can start the evening with a house aperitif accompanied by a glass of Rosè while enjoying a picturesque view of the surrounding hills.

Afterwards you can enjoy a short concert by the pool before dinner among the olive groves. During dinner the musicians will continue to play and the typical menu includes:

During the Oltrepò Pavese winery tour and wine tasting, you will have the choice of three different experiences.

The first tour of the vineyards and vines lasts 1h30 and includes the tasting of 4 glasses.

The second option lasts 2h, and is recommended for lovers of the Pinot Noir grape variety.

The last type of experience you can choose instead includes a tour of both the vineyards and the winery, and ends with wine tasting.

The activity starts with a walk through the vineyard, then you will continue with a guided tour in the winemaking cellar and the Metodo Classico aging room where they will explain details about the products.

To conclude the experience, you will have the opportunity to have a tasting of 4 wines represented by the winery (including organic) accompanied by small samples (vegetable flan, cheese and tart).

Lunch in Oltrepò Pavese, at Calatroni Vini, to taste typical dishes and enjoy some excellent locally produced wine together.

The second part of the visit takes you to the winemaking cellar and the aging cellar to explore the world of wine.
